Manhattan Made, LLC

As part of Kansas State University’s Industrial and Manufacturing Systems Engineering curriculum, all graduating students must enroll in one of two senior capstone classes. In addition to Senior Design, students have the option to take Manufacturing Systems Design and Analysis (MSDA). MSDA seeks to teach students about real world manufacturing procedure and business strategy by requiring the development of a comprehensive design process.

 

Over the course of the 17-week semester, students design, manufacture, finance, market, sell, and deliver quality products. As a class, we established Manhattan Made, L.L.C. and will be manufacturing and selling bottle openers throughout the fall semester. We hope that you enjoy our product as much as we have enjoyed participating in this unique learning experience!
